Gucci is not only one of the worlds most famous fashion houses, it is also one of the oldest. They began to trade back in 1920; this was when the owner founded it. Their business was helped along by the fact that fashion has slowly become a more important part of most peoples lives. Gucci watches were not limited for retail in Italy though; they were also sold prolifically in the rest of Europe and around the globe. A high end watch was, and still is, one of the first purchases an individual makes when they come into money. It is a symbol of wealth and quality.
Throughout the years of Gucci Gucci watch production, the quality of the materials that they use has always been of the highest level. From the beautiful Italian leather they use for the straps, to the fantastically polished metals they use for there other watches. The metals used include stainless steel, silver, gold and even platinum. Some of their really high end products have crafted jewels attached to them, such as sapphires and diamonds. These are obviously only purchased by the extremely rich, generally celebrities or royalty.

The simple design has allowed them to retail it without change for many years, even though it has not been changed, it still remains near the top of their sales list.
The large majority of people see the G watch as Gucci`s signature piece. They have a male and a female version, the male option just being slightly larger than the female one. The classic design is one that has, over the years, become synonymous with Gucci. They pride themselves on never trying too hard.
